Gear4EVs is a static website. We don't run user accounts, and we don't set our own tracking or advertising cookies.
Newsletter
- When you enter your email in a Gear4EVs signup form, it is sent directly to Kit (kit.com), the email provider that stores our subscriber list and sends the Friday deals email. Gear4EVs' own site doesn't store it.
- Kit sends you a confirmation email first. You're only subscribed after you click the link in it.
- Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe anytime, and that removes you from future sends.
- Kit's handling of your data is described in Kit's privacy policy.
Price-drop alerts
Per-product alerts aren't live yet as instant emails. The "Email me when this drops" forms sign you up for the same Friday deals email, and also send Kit which product, model and category you asked about (stored as fields on your Kit subscriber profile) so the email can show your watched drops. You can ask us to clear them anytime. Drops in that email come from the prices Gear4EVs recorded itself.
Shop links
Product links take you to the shop's own website, which has its own privacy policy. Some links may become affiliate links – see the affiliate disclosure.
Images
Product images load from each shop's image server (for most shops, Shopify's CDN), so those servers see a normal image request from your browser.
